The first annual John E. Julian Memorial Golf Tournament was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. The day began with Roger Rossi, long time friend of John, who drove a ceremonial first drive next to the 18th green into the woods, before the golfers scrambled to their starting places. Due to the type of start (known as a scramble) everyone was due to finish basically at the same time. After the buffet dinner, and thanks to the generosity of all those who donated items, we raffled off many prizes. We raised well over $5,000.00 dollars for John's Scholarship Fund!!! A huge THANK YOU to all of those individuals that made this day a success. Thanks to Russ Vibberts and Betsy Nelson, whose organization and hard work made the day possible. Special thanks to Jack Kelly and Bruce Dobson who worked on the course all day.
